Our Munro Kirk and Lapa Munnik Frailcare facility is situated in South End on the Walmer Boulevard in Port Elizabeth.
The home has a bed capacity of 150 frail care beds for Residents requiring nursing care. A sick bay facility is also conveniently positioned within the frail care home and can accommodate 35 patients who are recuperating from acute medical or surgical conditions and who need nursing interventions.
The multi disciplinary care approach provides holistic care to each individual patient which is provided by a well trained team of staff. Patients are guaranteed 24 hour nursing care and receive excellent support from caring and dedicated Social Workers, who are available at all times.
Well balanced meals are provided by Eastern Province Caterers and are served in three pleasant dining rooms. Menus are compiled by a dietician.
The grounds are fully enclosed and fences are electrified. CCTV cameras have been installed in 128 sites, including bedrooms and passages, around the home thus ensuring the safety of persons and possessions.
